Senate investigators report indications that Howard B. Keck, head of Superior Oil of California, gave large sums to the Citizens for Eisenhower Committee. Keck’s personal checks and banking records were subpoenaed as part of a probe into a $2,500 capitation gift to Sen. Francis Case. The case prompted creation of an eight member Senate panel to review campaign contributions and lobbying. Navy reports 40-foot gas bag's position and course

The Navy said the 40-foot gas bag was about 700 miles west of French Morocco this morning. It was traveling east south east at 30,000 feet and moving roughly 140 miles per hour.

Funeral services for Miss Eva Chambers who died Feb 17 were held Feb 19 at Birchard Funeral Home Osawatomie. Beagle Dies From Car Truck Collision Near Bellevue Club

Atchison resident Glen W. Beagle aged 48 died yesterday from injuries from a crash on a county road near Atchison's Bellevue Country Club. Beagle, a club caretaker and farmer, was injured Monday. Driver Lowell Morrill, 21, of Valley Falls suffered minor injuries in the milk truck collision.
