Gas suit may be resolved in Hutchinson case
Attorneys for plaintiffs in a class action against Kansas Gas Service and its parent ONEOK say the gas explosions on January 17 and 18 killed two people and damaged downtown Hutchinson. The suit seeks damages for lower property values declining business and vacant rentals from the crisis. About 150 people attended a Tuesday night meeting hoping for a resolution next year.
