Editorial Saturday Notebook on Kansas tourism and weather
Editorial notes a snowstorm in Kansas, seed catalogs and sunlit Florida ads reflect tourism contrasts. It cites Larry Montgomery of the Department of Economic Development urging state tourism, critiques booze laws, and laments wasted tax cash on development. A reader recalls old norms, delivery routes adapt to snow, and sports broadcasts are mocked. Concludes with a government official’s resignation and mixed progress at the Postal Service.
