Lions Club seniors party lights up snowy afternoon
The Bicentennial Lions Club hosted its third senior citizens party at L and M Buffet on a snowbound Tuesday. Guests enjoyed valentine cookies, cupcakes, coffee, and hot chocolate as Madden family and 4-H members provided music, singing, and square dancing. Prizes for oldest attendees and door prize were awarded. Club president Duane Roush said monthly parties will continue, with plans for a spring bowling tournament and a New Year’s Eve breakfast to fund the project.
