Gunman Opens Fire at Brookline Clinics Killing One

In Brookline Massachusetts a gunman dressed in black opened fire at a Planned Parenthood clinic in a busy business district killing a staff member and wounding three others. A few blocks away at Preterm Health Services three more people were wounded with no arrests reported. Witnesses indicated a single assailant across both sites.

Davis Road Crash Leaves Man Hospitalized In Kansas City

Ottawa man Fred L. Clymore age 72 was in fair condition at a Kansas City Kansas hospital after a two vehicle crash on Davis Road. He rode a Chevy Blazer driven by himself while Christopher A. Crump 23 of Ottawa drove a pickup and was treated and released. Crump cited for not wearing a seatbelt as police investigate drag racing reports and a white car that fled the scene.

Freed U S pilot returns home from North Korea

Bobby Hall, a 28 year old American pilot held 13 days after a helicopter crash in North Korea, was released at Panmunjom and flown to Seoul for a medical checkup. The incident strained U S North Korea relations as Washington acknowledged a navigational error. Hall appeared wan but composed as generals from both sides watched his crossing.
