Sunday School Lesson on a Thief's Conversion and Robbing God
A thief robs a parish safe but the priest stops the robbery with a calm explanation of church work for the poor. The thief later converts in prison and becomes a Christian leader. The piece cites Malachi and Psalm verses to argue that all wealth is God’s trust and a tenth should fund his work. It contrasts church charities with war spending and calls for more giving to aid the needy.
