Boost in consumer confidence and housing gains lift economy

Washington reports show November new home sales up 6.4 percent to a 934000 pace, the strongest in eight months, with regional gains led by the Midwest and Northeast while the West slipped. Existing home sales rose 0.6 percent to 5.21 million, and the Conference Board says consumer confidence rose to 93.7 in December from 84.9.

Life member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 26. Married George Morris 1926 Olathe. he died 1949. Married T L Barrett 1955 Prairie Village. he died 1991.
