Judge lifts restraining order against Letterman in Santa Fe
New Mexico judge on Tuesday granted CBS star David Letterman’s request to dismiss a temporary restraining order filed by Colleen Nestler who claimed the Late Show host used coded words and gestures to express a desire to marry her and train her as his co host Nestler alleged mental cruelty and sleep deprivation since May 1994 and sought to stay away from Letterman but the court said it lacked jurisdiction over him and Nestler appeared without counsel saying she would prove her case by force if needed
