Greeks Hear Testimony In Terrorism Case
Two Arab suspects accused of firing on an El Al airliner at Athens airport appeared before magistrate Nicholas Stylianakis for pretrial testimony. Mahmoud Issa and Maher Sulleiman, bound in cuffs, faced eight charges including premeditated murder with possible death penalty if convicted. No trial date was set. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said it has hired lawyers to defend the men.
