Troy Young a 39 year old Michigan Valley resident died in a one vehicle crash on U S 56 east of Overbrook when his 1994 International tractor-trailer veered off the road. He worked 20 years at the Michigan Valley elevator and was active in 4 H Osage County Extension Council and local shooting sports groups. He lived in Princeton Pomona and Michigan Valley communities and married Lesia Engle in 1981. He is survived by his wife two daughters his parents two sisters and other relatives.
Kansas Attorney General Carla Stovall plans to quit politics after her 2002 term for a private sector job, per The Kansas City Star citing unnamed Republican sources.
