Plant Worker Sues John Birch Over Tax Advice
An Emporia man employed on the Wolf Creek nuclear power plant project near Burlington filed a federal suit alleging defrauding by the John Birch Society and its agents. Thomas McHan seeks $110,000 damages, naming the John Birch Society, its National Commodity and Barter Association, and two alleged agents.
