The Herald of Ottawa History Through Floods and Change
The Herald began as a pioneer in Ottawa media and grew into a regional chain with holdings across the Midwest. It survived the 1951 Marais des Cygnes flood, moved from Main Street to Cedar Street in 1963, adopted offset presses, and shifted to off-site printing by 2010.
