The Friendly Trail Riders held their first annual Christmas benefit ride on Dec 3 at Pomona Lake with about 42 riders. Collectibles including gloves hats coats and scarves plus cash were donated to East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Inc. A spring ride is planned to collect used eyeglasses.
