Model Railroad Club Reorganizes at Old Depot Ottawa
Franklin County Historical Society Model Railroad Club reorganized with Dave Bemmels as general manager and Robert Ledom as secretary treasurer. The HO gauge layout depicts Ottawa with Santa Fe and MoPac trackage, 150 cars and 17 diesels, seven tunnels and a replica iron bridge over Marais de Cygnes. Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday. next Jan 7 at 7 p.m. at the Bemmels home. dues 50 cents monthly or $5 yearly.
