Trojans Upend OHS In Tight Osawatomie Win
Osawatomie guard Dennis Brady scored 31 as the Trojans survived Ottawa High 64-62. Brady hit late 25-foot jumpers and the deciding baseline jumper with 33 seconds left to lift Osawatomie to a 4-0 record while Ottawa fell to 1-3 amid 23 turnovers and 43 percent shooting. Skeeter Williams added 17 points off the bench, and Hay and Mueller led Ottawa with 23 rebounds combined and 19 points from Mueller. Ottawa’s Petty fouled out with 9 points as Osawatomie grabbed the B-team win 41-33.
