A 25 year old man in West Haven Conn. was bitten on the thumb by his pet cobra while picking mites. He drove to a local hospital then was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in New York for snake bite treatment. The Asian cobra was confiscated and he may face charges for owning a venomous snake.
