Sheriff renews plan for new jail in Anderson County
Anderson County and Garnett may build a five acre law enforcement center housing offices, emergency and 911 centers, and a jail. He cites out of county prisoner housing as a revenue source to offset costs, with several Kansas counties expanding jails to accommodate inmates from smaller counties.
