Fire fatality in mobile home likely from electrical short
Investigators say the west apartment of a Timberlake Ranch mobile home, where DeMaire and Terry lived, caught fire around 5:22 am and quickly spread. Four occupants were inside. DeMaire did not escape, possibly entering a bathroom during the blaze. The cause remains undetermined but is suspected to be an electrical malfunction in the kitchen area.
