Tacha Okayed For Bench
Washington AP Deanell Tacha a University of Kansas administrator has been confirmed by the Senate for a seat on the U S 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. The 39 year old law professor and former White House fellow was named to the judgeship in October by President Reagan and is the second Kansan on the Denver based court. Myra Hinman opposed her nomination but EU officials backed Tacha.
