RMH unveils new open layout emergency department features
Angie Welch outlines RMH’s new trauma rooms and open lobby with a salt water aquarium, two trauma bays, updated monitors, call lights, and expanded nurse and physician stations. The move aims to raise care to level 3 trauma status, with 12 on call physicians and 24/7 navigator nurse guiding patient flow during the Tuesday transition and a drill on the 19th.
