Industry Downs Cable TV Rules and Gov. Go Ahead

Ford condemned the plan as halting expansion and harming manufacturing, while Douglas Talbott of Cablevision warned about the ruling’s unclear impact. FCC rules regulate program retransmission, limit ownership, and require CATV systems to originate some programming. Pay TV would start only after potential delays and legal reviews.
