New England Journal of Medicine Finds No Benefit in Some HIV Drug Combinations
The study shows that zidovudine amivudine efavirenz waits do not outperform the standard zidovudine and other therapies. Do not start new patients on didanosine known as Videx or stavudine also called Zerit due to lower potency and higher toxicity. Funded by NIADs and NDails researchers have ties to AIDS drug makers.
