Mrs W C Goodman hosted the First Methodist Wesleyan Service Guild Christmas meeting Tuesday evening. President Mrs George Hutchison opened with the St Francis prayer and led a brief business session. Members of Lend A Hand class held a gift and cookie exchange Tuesday evening at Trinity Methodist Church. Mrs. Frank Cannady read a thank you letter from the Guinatin Social Center in the Philippines for articles the class sent. Enclosed were pictures of teachers sponsors and buildings. Refreshments were served to 14 present. Hostesses were Mrs. Earl Reed Mrs. Walter Pohl Mrs. W F Lehew and Mrs. Guy Mcintosh.
