Slain CIA Officer Spann Buried at Arlington
CIA officer Johnny Micheal Spann, 32, killed during the Taliban prison uprising in Mazar i Sharif on November 25, is buried at Arlington National Cemetery with Marine Corps honors. President Bush granted a waiver for burial there. Spann leaves a wife, two daughters, and an infant son. Director Tenet and other officials plan to attend the private service.

More than 300 people attended a Fort Campbell memorial for Master Sgt. Jefferson Davis Staff Sgt. Brian Cody Prosser and Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Petithory. The trio of Special Forces soldiers died when a U S bomb miss fired killing 22 including five Afghan fighters. Their boots berets and dog tags were displayed as family and friends mourned their loss.
