Foreign pilgrims are scarce, a single tour bus sits in Manger Square, and locals eek out income amid ongoing unrest and a 770 Palestinian and 53 Israeli death toll since 1987.

Justices to hear variety of cases

It would reinstate a $200,000 Minnesota award won by a source unnamed, after a state court had reduced and then voided it. The decision could affect oral confidentiality contracts with reporters.
