Woman Died Seeking Aid in Snow 63 Year-Old Brother Stricken
Minnie Evhurst Marshall died while trying to reach aid for her 63 year old brother on a snowbound farm. Bertha Setering was found frozen in a field after starting toward a neighbor about a mile away. John Setering, also 63, was found later in his yard suffering a stroke and left side paralysis. Authorities believe Bertha collapsed Thursday evening during the brutal cold and snow. Sheriff Erwin L. Johnson noted she wore only a scarf and no coat or gloves.
