OYF Selects Williamsburg Farmer for State Contest
Williams burg farmer JOAN ISTAS will represent the Ottawa Jaycees in the State Jaycee Outstanding Young Farmer contest at Salina in February. Larry Milliken and his wife Sandy received the county award at the November Farm City Week banquet for conservation, community work, and farming initiatives. The Millikens began farming with his father Orlin, Williams burg, then moved to land near Homewood when it became available.
