Survey Finds ATV Dealers Violate Age Guidelines
An undercover survey by the Consumer Product Safety Commission finds more than half of 227 ATV dealers convey or imply that adult-size ATVs can be used by children under 16, despite a 1988 consent decree with Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Polaris. The report cites 100 annual deaths and notes dealers often omit age-size warnings.
