Turner Blaze Damages Turner's Tele Shop and Ford Outlet
A fire at Turner's Tele Shop at 1041 W. 15th caused damage after a trash fire. Three fires at Ron Henry Ford, 412 S. Main, followed within 12 hours, costing thousands. Ottawa Public Safety split crews to tackle both the tele shop blaze and a grass fire at Mrs. Jim Sutton’s home on Hickory. The grass fire, likely sparked by burning trash, was extinguished before a garage ignited.
