Co op Expands Storage With Two Oil Tanks Near LeLoup
The Ottawa Co op will raise storage to 2 million bushels by using two purchased oil tanks near LeLoup. Manager Adrian Derousseau says the white tanks, visible from I 35, will help the northeast expansion and solve a long standing storage shortage. The buy cost under a quarter of new elevator construction. A temporary Locust street bunker remains suboptimal for labor. Tanks will become a harvest dumping site with scales and a small house added after cleaning.
