Antique Show Reveals Folk Art Finds at New York Preview
The seventh annual fall Antique Show opened with long lines as buyers pursued 19th century and earlier decorative items. Highlights include a $4,900 hand made whirligig by Joe Machado, Pennsylvania Dutch towels priced up to $375, rag rugs from $150 to $250, and windmill weights shown with related book copies from the Museum of American Folk Art.
