Topeka names two state office buildings for Landon and Docking
Gov. John Carlin issued an executive order naming the state’s two main Topeka administrative buildings after Alfred M. Landon and Robert B. Docking. The Landon building uses the former Santa Fe Railroad regional HQ site east of the Capitol, and the Docking building stands across Harrison Street. Docking’s son Tom Docking joined relatives in praising the honor, noting his father’s four-term governorship and long public service.
