Ottawa High Cyclones Hit Rebuilding Year In Basketball
Ottawa High's basketball outlook centers on a young, cohesive unit led by 6-4 senior Scott Hay and seniors Tony Petty and John Mueller. Coach Bob Duncan expects inexperience and depth to challenge them, with a soap scrimmage Friday as a season preview and an early opener at Emporia. The squad aims to rebound offensively inside and prove doubters wrong in the East Kansas League.
