A series of sheriff reports detail arrests and detentions across Franklin County. A 43-year-old Topeka man on a civil warrant and a 26-year-old Ottawa woman on a failure to appear warrant were cited. A 21-year-old Paola woman faced suspension, a Pomona man on drug paraphernalia charges, and a burglary case involving a Garnett duo. Garnett Kansas Anderson County Hospital has again earned Level IV Trauma Center designation from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment KDHE. The hospital notes Level IV centers stabilize serious injuries and transfer as needed. KDHE Secretary Dr. Susan Mosier commends the designation and Saint Luke's Health System says patients will receive high level care when needed.
