Obituary: Marshall Ball 81 of Ottawa dies at home

Marshall Milford Pap Ball 81 of Ottawa died Thursday August 26 2004 at his home. Funeral service Monday 10 am at Dengel Son Mortuary with Rev Michael Schooley officiating. He served in the US Army Air Corps in World War II and received the Asian Pacific Service Medal. Survived by three sons Delbert Lyndon Michael, three daughters Sherry Wright Marla Schmoe Deborah Daniels, 14 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren one great great grandchild. Burial Highland Cemetery with VFW honors after viewing. Condolences may be emailed to the family.

Explosives Traced in Airliner Wreckage

Russian officials said traces of a high explosive were found in the wreckage of one of two crashed jetliners, branding the act as terrorism. An Islamic group claimed responsibility, linking the crashes to the Chechnya war. The total death toll reached 90.
