State urges buckle up kids under two in cars
After the first of the year the child passenger safety act goes into effect. Kansas State University health and safety expert Michael Bradshaw says the law requires front seat children under age two to use approved safety seats with police allowed to issue warnings. DOT funds will distribute loaner restraint devices to communities. The act excludes back seat riders and out-of-state or temporary vehicles. Separately fifty two members of the Clyde Chambers family held a reunion with relatives from Colorado Texas and Kansas enjoying outdoor activities.
