Dorothy R. Tressler of Colony dies at 81
Dorothy R. Tressler, 81, of Colony died Tuesday August 26 2003 at a Herington hospital. Funeral services are Friday at Farris Feuerborn Memorial Chapel Colony with Rev. Lee Bahney officiating. She was born March 24 1922 in Wayne Nebraska to Herbert and Effie Reuter. She married Edgar L. Tressler in 1947 at County Bluffs Iowa. Survivors include two sons Charles E. Tressler and Herbert G. Tressler a daughter Linda E. Carlson and three grandchildren. Burial will be in Colony Cemetery. The body will lie in state Thursday 3 to 8 pm and Friday 9 am to 1 pm with the family greeting from noon to 1 pm. Memorials may be made to Colony United Methodist Church or Lutheran Home Inc.
