Ex-SRS attorney pleads guilty after new trial
Robert C. Wellborn, 50, former Kansas SRS attorney, pled guilty to two counts of attempted aggravated indecent liberties with a child after a prior rape conviction was overturned and a new trial ordered. He admitted intent to have sexual contact with the girl, who testified she was molested during 1995 1997 at his Reno County home. Judge Kennedy will sentence Wellborn on Sept. 29.

Adolescent daughter of victim adopted by Robinson kin
The victim’s daughter Tiffany Stasi, now known as Heather Robinson, was adopted by John Edward Robinson Sr.’s brother and his wife. A Kansas case hearing on motions was set in Johnson County District Court. Prosecutors added Tiffany’s name to a large witness list but say they do not plan to call her. The Star protected her privacy until now, and her exact new name is public record.
