A Friday caption corrected the anticipated completion of the new law enforcement center at 715 W. Second St. It now states the project should be completed by March or April 2003.

Also Maxine Reed 86 of Ottawa died Aug 17 2002 with graveside Aug 21 Highland Ottawa. Hilda Pickert Garnett 91 died Aug 17 2002 at Golden Heights Garnett. Clifford Gottstein 92 of Baldwin City died Aug 16 2002 at Baldwin Care Center. Funeral services for all are announced with times and locations and memorial gifts to designated charities.
