First predator released under Kansas 1994 law
A former Olathe resident, Jerry P. Inman, 51, became the first person released from Kansas aggregate predator program after being deemed likely to commit further sex crimes. He must undergo five years of court supervision, annual polygraphs, therapy, and restricted contact, including no unsupervised contact with females under 18 and limited online activity.

Police in Wichita and Colorado Springs say a decomposing body was found in the trunk of a Ford Taurus linked to Dana Anderson, 29, who had been missing with her boyfriend, Steve Papen, 36. Papen was hospitalized in Seattle after a Tuesday park incident. Detectives will review airport footage and financial records as they probe the case.
