Steven Anthony Harris aged 24 of Ottawa had sentencing postponed after his attorney requested more time to prepare. Judge Thomas Sachse gave 10 days to file motions and the state 10 days to respond, with a Sept. 10 hearing set. Harris pleaded no contest to attempted second degree murder for the Dec 2 shooting of Jeremy Ward behind OLearys Pub and faced additional charges including marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 feet of a school and firearm possession.
