Primary snafu prompts call for another election in Franklin County

Larry Skeet objects to the 2nd District Franklin County primary results and a petition filing by Leslie Reinier raises questions about legality. Weigand led Skeet by 144 votes. Reinier’s petitions may have violated a 180 day signature rule. An objection board will meet Friday to decide next steps, with a potential court ruling. Common sense favors another election, possibly on November 5, to avoid extra cost.
