Ottawa High School's Kevin Morton and Pomona High School's Caleob King were selected for the Kansas Masonic All-State High School Band at the University of Kansas Lawrence. From Aug 2 to 6 they joined 153 musicians, culminating in parade, pregame and halftime performances at the Kansas East West Shrine Bowl. Ottawa Lodge 18 AF and AM sponsored Morton. McKinley Lodge 41 sponsored King.
