Franklin County commissioners awarded the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce a one year tourism services contract with two one year renewal options after a 3-2 vote. The chamber will handle tourism promotion marketing and event coordination. The decision followed a committee review and bids from the chamber and the Franklin County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
