André Brown, a school patrol student, earned a medal after pulling 5 year old Anthony Fielder from a street danger in Oxon Hill Maryland on September 27 1978 at 3 40 PM. Witnesses say the act saved a life while he risked his own. Brown is an above average student who sang in the Owens Road School chorus and played violin. he plans to attend junior high this year.
