Big Eight coaches expect Nebraska and Oklahoma to lead season
Kansas State coach Vince Gibson says the Big Eight will see plenty of red this season as Nebraska and Oklahoma are the teams to beat. Nebraska enters with a national title hangover, while Oklahoma relies on a returning backfield and tougher schedule. Coaches from Kansas, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Missouri, and Kansas State anticipate improvements and note quarterback battles, depth issues, and defensive experience shaping the race.
