Windy Pines expands lawn art business in Ottawa Kansas
Karen Fogle and husband Ted opened a 10,000 square foot Windy Pines store near US-59 and Kingman Road on June 30 after moving from a smaller site. The center houses a large fountain and concrete lawn statues including rabbits as the couple plans a tourism boost for Ottawa. The old Willis Nursery site preserves local industrial history as they juggle local crafts with out of town items and aim for modest markups. Ezra Sykes can be reached at esykes otiawa herald.com.
