Lane Fair a Success Despite Heat described by Herald staff
The Lane Fair drew lower attendance but was praised for organization and learning by Karen Register of Garnett. Popular events included the parade, three on three basketball, and the kids pedal tractor pull. The horse show drew a crowd on Saturday while heat kept others indoors, with temperatures in the high 90s and heat indices above 100.
