Dusting trend linked to crashes in Wichita
Wichita police report a new trend called dusting where drivers inhale compressed air from cans to get high. Investigators have four known cases of teens or young adults causing injury crashes after a single inhalation. Police say the air can render users out of control briefly, with quick recovery making detection hard. A 17 year old girl injures a 42 year old passenger and a pedestrian bridge was hit in July.
