Des Moines Iowa report notes University of Missouri sophomore Kearston Peoples set season bests in recent meets. She finished second in shot put at Emporia State Mid-Week Open, took third at Kip Janvrin Open, and placed third in shot put at Drake Relays with 56 feet 10.25 inches, ranking in the nation top five outdoors. She also achieved a season best 174 feet in the discus.
